Finally, the New EP from Resorte (November 2022)
In a resounding comeback, Resorte plunges us into a musical experience with the release of the first three songs from their anticipated EP "Zombie". Two months after the premiere of the titular single, the EP is completed with "Matambre" and "Vienen por Ti", offering a trilogy of sounds that reflect the versatility and characteristic power of Resorte.
"Matambre" is a track that recaptures the essence of hip hop that Resorte has skillfully incorporated into their repertoire over the years. With reminiscences of classics like "Puro Rock" and "Aquí no es donde", the song bears the unmistakable stamp of Resorte. Moreover, it is enriched with a music video directed by Juan Chávez, the band's bassist and vocalist, which pays homage to horror cinema, paying tribute to iconic characters and adding a different visual dimension to the lyrics.
You can find the video on Resorte Oficial.
On the other hand, "Vienen por Ti" is a track that carries the essence of metal as its standard. With intense riffs and a dark atmosphere, Resorte demonstrates their skill in exploring this other side that characterizes them. The combination of vocal power and solid instrumentation immerses listeners into the other face of the band.
"Zombie": The Starting Point of a New Era
The single "Zombie", released just two months ago, with the addition of José Macario to their lineup, marks the starting point of this new stage for Resorte.
With "Zombie", "Matambre", and "Vienen por Ti", Resorte redefines their sound, exploring different genres while maintaining their unique essence.
Will they really complete this EP with more tracks as promised? We'll see in 2023…
